Suzanne
36 years grooming experience
Certified groomer

Suzanne has been grooming for 36 years and opened Bark Avenue 5 years ago. Her Aunt Tama enlisted her to bathe dogs at her Pet Shop on 78th and Dodge when she was only 13 years old. It wasn't long before she was learning the art of grooming, and it turned into a life long passion.

Suzanne is certified in terrier, sporting and non-sporting categories, according to the IPG standards and will be completing her Masters certificate soon. She has been married to her husband Kevin for 25 years and is most proud of her children Ashley (24) and Clint (20).

Debbie
10 years grooming experience
Certified groomer

Debbie has been grooming for 10 years. She is IPG certified in sporting dogs, non-sporting dogs and terriers. She is currently owned by three dogs, two children, and one husband.

Percia
17 years grooming experience

Percia is an Omaha native. She graduated from Central High School, attended OOIC business courses at UNO for 2 1/2 years, and also completed Micro-business classes through Nebraska Urban League. She spent seven years as a certified nurse's assistant, five of those years at Bergen Mercy CC.

Percia has been a professional pet groomer for 17 years, and is the proud mom of four pets. "I have a fun loving lab mix with a big heart that keeps me busy. I also have three adorable cats that are very affectionate and much energized." Percia specializes in feline grooming and styling. "I enjoy my profession and work place in which I take great pride. I enjoy quality time with my family and pets, and also meeting new people and caring for pets."

Holly

SiouxSun
25 years grooming experience

SiouxSun has been grooming for over 25 years. Tama, her mother, was a groomer and a pet shop owner in the 1970's. SiouxSun began her career there as a child. She was raised in what we "dog people" call a "SHOW HOME". She is an Iowa native and travels quite a distance to be able to enjoy the clients of Bark Avenue.

Tama was a Doberman Pinscher breeder and exhibitor. Tama became one of the most respected breeders of the 20th century. She owned "Arff Mobile Grooming" where SiouxSun began her scissoring skills. Tama can be credited with inspiring and instructing Suzanne (owner of Bark Avenue) in the art of grooming.

SiouxSun is married to Steven and mother to Tyler. She has dogs Fiona and "old" Woody as well as kitty's Nenah and Martha Cat.

Amanda
5 years grooming experience

Amanda is a Bellevue native. She attended Paragon School of Pet Grooming in 2001. She has been grooming for 5 years and was invited to become a member of our staff over 2 years ago. She prides herself on her ability to truly be an "all breed" groomer and has proven her scissoring skills.
